General Statement: The purpose of this statement is to express Aqua Lights desire to conduct business with it's customers in a "Best Intentions" way. The hope is that the following "Terms & Conditions" are easy to understand and that both Aqua Lights and it's customers will view them in the "Spirit" they are intended.

Warranty Statement: Aqua Lights guarantees the products it sells as follows effective January 1, 2012.

Bronze & Stainless Steel Thru-Hull Housings: All bronze & Stainless Steel Thru-Hull housings are conditionally guaranteed for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase from failure due to manufacturing defect. The following conditions apply.

 

1. Housings are installed according to the "Aqua Lights Installation Guidelines". 

2. Customer must Register their product within 30 days whether or not it has been installed.

3. Customer provides pictures of the installed product from the inside and outside of the vessel. Pictures must be of reasonable resolution to confirm proper installation. Pictures must be provided within 10 days of installation of product.

4. Housings are not guaranteed against electrolysis due to improper grounding.

 

Aluminum Thru-Hull Housings: All aluminum Thru-Hull housings are conditionally guaranteed for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase from failure due to manufacturing defect. The following conditions apply.

1. Housings are installed according to the "Aqua Lights Installation Guidelines". 

2. Customer must Register their product within 30 days whether or not it has been installed.

3. Customer provides pictures of the installed product from the inside and outside of the vessel. Pictures must be of reasonable resolution to confirm proper installation. Pictures must be provided within 10 days of installation of product.

4. Housings are not guaranteed against electrolysis due to improper grounding.

LED Cartridges: All LED cartridges for thru-hulls are conditionally guaranteed for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase from failure due to manufacturing defect. The following conditions apply.

1. LED Cartridges are installed according to the "Aqua Lights Installation Guidelines". 

2. Customer must Register their product within 30 days whether or not it has been installed.

3. Customer provides pictures of the installed product from the inside and outside of the vessel. Pictures must be of reasonable resolution to confirm proper installation. Pictures must be provided within 10 days of installation of product.

4. LED Cartridges are not guaranteed against failure due to improper wiring or voltage inputs.

5. LED Cartridges are not guaranteed against failure caused by water intrusion due to improper installation of thru-hull housing or damage to the outer glass lens.

LED Surface Mount Lights: All LED Surface Mount lights are conditionally guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase from failure due to manufacturing defect. The following conditions apply.

1. LED surface mount lights are installed according to the "Aqua Lights Installation Guidelines". 

2. Customer must Register their product within 30 days whether or not it has been installed.

3. Customer provides pictures of the installed product from the inside and outside of the vessel. Pictures must be of reasonable resolution to confirm proper installation. Pictures must be provided within 10 days of installation of product.

4. LED surface mount lights are not guaranteed against failure due to improper wiring or voltage inputs.

5. LED surface mount lights are not guaranteed against failure caused by water intrusion due to improper installation or damage to the outer glass lens.

Ballasts for Xenon & Metal Halide lights: All ballasts are conditionally guaranteed for a period of 1 years from the date of purchase from failure due to manufacturing defect. The following conditions apply.

1. Ballasts are installed according to the "Aqua Lights Installation Guidelines".

2. Ballasts are not guaranteed against failure due to improper wiring or voltage inputs.

3. Ballasts are not guaranteed against water intrusion. Ballasts are water resistant, NOT waterproof.

Light Bulbs (Non LED): All light bulbs are guaranteed to light up but no warranty period is offered.
